Remove end of life .NET versions and add .NET 9.0 support #177

  • Removes end-of-life .NET versions

  • Adds support for .NET 9

  • Updates dependency packages to addresses transitive vulnerabilities
    This resolves build failures caused by Nuget vulnerability warnings getting treated as errors in some projects. <TreatWarningsAsErrors>true</TreatWarningsAsErrors>

A few other packages do have updates available but are not causing any build issues so have left those for now.

All tests are passing successfully.

Thank you for the contribution, it looks like I'll need to do some Github Action pipeline maintenance to unblock the build

Oh, I somehow missed this PR. I've opened a similar one here #181 and have tested the pipeline on my fork.

@pakrym could you try run the GitHub workflow now?

Looks okay when manually run
